032: Clay Martin | Transformative Healing With Veteran of Special Forces
Clay Martin, a Special Forces veteran, discusses the fears and transformations veterans have with psychedelic therapy. Clay shares how psilocybin mushrooms helped him heal from brain injuries, recounts his transformative psilocybin experience, emphasizing the need for support and integration in using psychedelics for healing trauma. Clay served in two branches of service, the USMC and the US Army. In the Corps he was in the infantry, a Scout/Sniper, and a Recon Marine. In the Army he served as a Green Beret, with most of his career spent in 3rd Special Forces Group. He was an Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) Communications SGT, Intelligence SGT, and ended his career as a SFAUC instructor. Clay was forced to medically retire in 2013, and spent a few years in jobs, teaching people to shoot and contracting. He has been all over the world, and seen a thing or two out of the ordinary. In 2017 Clay started writing novels, and finished his first non-fiction survival book in June of 2020. As Clay puts it, “It has proven to be a crystal ball for our slide into the abyss.” He now lives in Idaho with his wife, sons, and pack of feral dogs. Want To Watch Entrepreneurs In Recovery?
