Chapter 14: The boys leave, and everyone's bored. Lady Catherine extends an invitation to Lizzy and Maria, and Lizzy reflects on Proposageddon. Chapter 12: Lizzy goes for a walk to distract herself from Proposageddon. Unfortunately, Darcy finds her and gives her a letter in an attempt to clear his name. We learn why Darcy really stopped Bingley from proposing to Jane, and the tea is SPILLED on Wickham. We no longer like George Wickham. Highlights include Becca's desirability, PIVOT, coming back to some early foreshadowing, and us calling Daddy Bennet Daddy Bingley (we know and we're sorry).Chapter 13: Lizzie's reaction, in real time, to the letter. She starts out prejudiced against Darcy, but as she continues to read, she starts to think maybe he's telling the truth. Pride and Prejudice Vol. II Chapters 9-11

Chapter 9: Darcy drops by ALONE, while Lizzy is also alone. Lizzy confronts him about he and the Bingleys leaving Netherfield. Charlotte decides Darcy is in love with Lizzy, and observes him fumbling at gatherings to figure out if it's real. Highlights include a pronunciation correction of Hertfordshire (shout out to friend of the pod Zach, as well as new listener Karin who wrote in post-recording-this-episode), an etymology of the phrase "of course" (available on our Patreon!), the sexiness of scooting a chair, and Darcy playing sports.Chapter 10: Lizzy's special secret walk isn't so secret. Chapter 1: Jane receives a letter from Caroline confirming all our fears. Chapter 21: Collins is....still at Longbourn. Jane gets a foreboding letter from Netherfield.
