On the latest Hawks Talk Podcast we look back at the life of Blackhawks legend Stan Mikita after he passed away at the age of 78.
Pat Boyle talks with Eddie Olczyk, Mike Ditka and Cliff Koroll about the Blackhawks all-time points leader.
Ditka was a groomsman in Mikita’s wedding. The Coach discusses their friendship that started in the early 60s, encounters on the golf course and his final meeting with Mikita last year.
Koroll played for more than a decade with Mikita and said he was a fierce competitor. Mikita’s former linemate also says "Stosh" is the greatest player to ever put on an Indian head sweater.
Olczyk reminisces about the first time he met Mikita in the late 70s, Stan’s charitable work in the community and where Mikita belongs in the conversation of Greatest Chicago Athletes of all-time.
