Faked Transparency vs. True Vulnerability
It's so easy to feign transparency in marriage. We can give just enough info to give the appearance of vulnerability, all the while failing to be meaningfully vulnerable with one another. In this episode, we talked about the roots of why we "fake it" in marriage, and how the Gospel compels us to fight instead for true vulnerability.

Your Marriage is Bigger Than You
God created marriage to be BIGGER than you! It's bigger than today, it's bigger than our cultural context, and it's bigger than our struggles. Why and how is it bigger? In today's episode, we talked about seeing marriage in its proper context as part of God's plan for redemption throughout history, but also redemption in our daily lives. We hope it blesses you!

What (little 'g') gods Are You Worshipping in Your Marriage?
It's all too easy to pay lip service to Jesus in life and marriage, but live as if he's not King. In this episode of the Fierce Marriage Podcast, we recapped lessons we've learned from the past few weeks since the arrival of our 3rd daughter. God graciously allowed us to realize areas of our lives that we can tend to enthrone in a place of undue authority. We talked about the (little 'g') gods of control/power, status/pride, and (this is a big one we tend to worship all too quickly) comfort/pleasure. We hope you learn something new!

Why the "Proverbs 31 Woman" Isn't Who I Thought She Was
The 31st chapter of Proverbs is a beautiful piece of Scripture. However, it's so easy to read it in a way that is contrary to the original intent of the work. The result can mean that ladies/wives feel an overwhelming burden to strive, work, and toil to become the woman portrayed. In today's episode we discussed why that is and we propose a "better" reading of this famous chapter of Proverbs. We hope it blesses you. ALERT: this episode isn't just for ladies.

The 15 Second Kiss Experiment
We tried this experiment, it was awesome, so you should try it too. "Selena and I kiss plenty, but we realized that we don’t often kiss for more than a few seconds. I’m not exactly sure why, but I do know it wasn’t like that when we were dating. We made out way too much and for too long when we were dating… After my “sales pitch”, Selena and I agreed to try a few days with the “15 second kiss” rule. Here’s what we learned (or were reminded of)…" Listen for more!
