Simon Elmer was born and lives in London. In 2002, he received his PhD in the History and Theory of Art from University College London, and he has taught at the universities of London, Manchester, Reading and Michigan. In 2015 he co-founded Architects for Social Housing, for which he is Head of Research. I have a master's degree in chemical engineering, and have worked in the Danish industry for all of my career. I got involved with the environment in connection with my employment and prepared courses for our staff over many years. This led gradually to an interest in the climate issue, which I have been following for the past some 10 years. I retired in late 2019 and thereupon devoted most of my time on the climate and renewable energy issues. I got involved with the Danish Climate Realism Association and have for the past 3 years been the editor of the Association's web page: klimarealisme.dk, as well as being a member of the Board. The web page is uniquely in the Danish language, everything we publish is written in Danish or translated.  Besides writing and editing articles for the web page I engage in giving presentations on climate issues, whenever anyone is interested. TONY THOMAS has been a journalist in Australia since 1958 when he went straight from school at 18 to The West Australian newspaper, doing news and light features. He concurrently studied literature at university for eight years.
