John Chizmadia: The Climate Scam | Tom Nelson Pod #144
John Chizmadia is an entrepreneur, business developer, husband, father, and grandfather. A scholar athlete, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Political Science. He founded and was CEO of a computer hardware and software distribution company, which as part of its claim to fame, launched many tech brands that are household names today. He has a passion for history, has traveled extensively, and has used his many life experiences as the core foundation for his literary work. John and his wife (of 48 years) have lived in Colorado for 30 years.
CLIMATE SCAM is a Historical Narrative of nearly 40 years of scams about climate control. Meticulously researched, the book presents a summary and commentary of articles, interviews, debates, and opinions about a story perpetuated by politicians, business leaders, “climate scientists”, and the gullible. The presenters claimed they could save the world from burning up; in many cases their audiences believed them even though ALL the predictions were wrong. Glaciers didn't melt, coasts weren't flooded, and polar bears weren't starving. When Al Gore got into the act and his movie, "AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH", became a hit, the money train took off. "Send money NOW!! There's no time to waste!" The book is written very much in the style of Doris Kearns Goodwin's "Team of Rivals", William Manchester's "American Caesar", Henry Steel Commager's "The Blue and the Gray", and John Krakauer's "Into Thin Air." The reader will very quickly sense the decades of deception, robbery, character assassinations, and get rich quick schemes that have and still are affecting everybody in the world.

BS, MS, San Francisco State University; PhD, Stanford University; Bergmann Postdoctoral Fellow, The Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel. Now Emeritus scientific staff of the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and the Department of Chemistry, Stanford University. Nir Shaviv: Cosmic rays and climate | Tom Nelson Pod #138
According to PhysicaPlus: “… [Dr. Shaviv’s] research interests cover a wide range of topics in astrophysics. Most are related to the application of fluid dynamics, radiation transfer or high energy physics to a wide range of objects – from stars and compact objects to galaxies and the early universe. His studies on the possible relationships between cosmic rays’ intensity and the Earth’s climate, and the Milky Way’s Spiral Arms and Ice Age Epochs on Earth were widely echoed in the scientific literature, as well as in the general press.”

Kelvin Kemm: South African electricity and climate realism | Tom Nelson Pod #137
Dr Kelvin Kemm is a Business Strategy Consultant and runs his own company, Stratek, based in Pretoria. He is a nuclear physicist and is a past Chairman of the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa).
Dr Kemm started work as a research and development scientist but then moved into the management of technology and became involved in a wide variety of projects in many industrial sectors, giving him wide exposure to a technological and industrial base. He developed high technology systems and frequently went out ‘in the field’ to work on developments first hand. These activities took him into many factories, down mines, into power stations, riding in experimental aircraft and vehicles, and into banking, advertising and marketing systems.
Kelvin Kemm is a great believer in sound strategy development, and he points out that this is far more difficult than it appears on the surface. This includes understanding the psychology of the society within which a technology system must function.
Dr Kemm believes that a healthy economy needs a wide appreciation of the role of technology and how it fits into any strategic plan. Technology is not just the nuts and bolts; it is the entire basis on which any company stands. It is the proverbial concrete foundation of any enterprise.
He became interested in the public awareness of technology and has written over 1000 popular interest articles in journals, magazines and newspapers, internationally. He has written two books; a public interest book on South African technology: Techtrack - A Winding Path of South African Development and a coffee table book: At the Forefront of Weather.
He has been a Plenary Guest Speaker at the World Nuclear Association in London, and at the World Nuclear Exhibition in Paris. He Chaired the opening ceremony of ATOMEXPO in Moscow in 2016, and was a guest speaker at the African Union Economic Summit in Mauritius in 2017. He has been a Guest Speaker in places as diverse as Hanoi, Windhoek and Stockholm. He has also been a speaker at tribal events in the bush, in Venda, Sekhukhuneland and southern Angola. In contrast he has given both Senate and Congressional briefings in Washington DC.
