Selina Robinson is the BC Member of the Legislative Assembly for Coquitlam-Maillardville for the BC NDP, as elected in 2013. Since 2017, she has been the BC Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Sonia Furstenau is the leader of the BC Green Party and the BC Member of the Legislative Assembly for Cowichan Valley. She sits on six parliamentary committees including the Select Standing Committee on Children and Youth. She has been involved in grassroots advocacy as the National Administrator for Results Canada - a non-profit organization that works to end extreme poverty - and as a Director on the Board for Oikocredit - an international microcredit organization. She was also a volunteer with Citizens Climate Lobby.

Andrea Woo is an award-winning journalist for Canada’s national newspaper, The Globe and Mail, based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her work focuses on substance use, the opioids crisis, mental health, drug policy, and broadly, other health issues, including COVID-19. In the past, she has worked for publications including The Vancouver Sun, Metro Vancouver, The Georgia Straight, The Seattle Stranger, The Source, and XXL.

Richard Zussman is the Legislative Journalist for Global BC based in Victoria, British Columbia. Formerly with CITY TV in Edmonton and CBC BC as their Provincial Affairs Reporter, Richard is also the co-author of the book “A Matter of Confidence” — alongside Rob Shaw — about 2017’s confidence vote in the BC Legislature and the end of the BC Liberal dynasty.

Dr. Andrew Weaver is the Member of Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for the riding of Oak Bay-Gordon Head since 2013. From December 2015 to January 2020, he was the leader of the Green Party of British Columbia. He is a Member of the Order of British Columbia, a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and a winner of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for his role as a lead author in the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate with a group that included former US Vice President, Al Gore. He has authored or coauthored over 200 peer-reviewed papers in a variety of academic journals.

Justin McElroy is the Municipal Affairs Reporter for CBC Vancouver, covering local political stories throughout British Columbia. His resumes includes working for NBC during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, The Vancouver Sun and The Province newspapers, The Tyee, and Global News. John Cullen is a Vancouver-based comedian. His comedy album, “Most Likely To Be a Comedian” topped iTunes charts and regularly plays on SiriusXM radio. He has appeared at the Just For Laughs comedy festival and the Halifax Comedy Festival. He is also a contributor to CBC’s The Debaters. His latest album “Long Stories for No Reason” is slated for release in Fall 2020. He hosts two podcasts “Blocked Party” with Stefan Heck and “The P.O.D.Kast” with Bryan Quinby. Kyla Lee is a criminal lawyer with expertise in impaired driving and immediate roadside prohibition for Acumen Law Corporation. She is renowned for her knowledge of the immediate roadside prohibition (IRP) scheme. In 2014, she was the first lawyer to explain the deficiencies of the IRP scheme to the judges at the Supreme Court. She is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, the Canadian Bar Association, and the founder of the Canadian Impaired Driving Lawyers Association. She is also the host of the Driving Law podcast. Kyla was named one of Canadian Lawyer Magazine’s Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in Canada. She’s appeared on GlobalBC, The Lynda Steele Show, CBC News, CTV, and a variety of other outlets seeking her criminal law expertise. She also used to be a model! Kyla was first featured on Episode #53 to discuss impaired driving laws in Canada, in addition to a Colourful Calls segment in April 2020.
