This was as low-event as a game could be in terms of highlights. Nic Deslauriers’ first period fight was the only thing that registered as a Philadelphia “highlight” in the opening 40 minutes. WHAT A NIGHT IN SOUTH PHILLY! After allowing the first goal for the seventh straight game the Philadelphia Flyers caught fire, scoring four goals in the first period, including 3 in 26 seconds and 2 by Tyson Foerster within 17 seconds to open up a big lead. The Philadelphia Flyers had a split weekend, putting on one hell of a show in their shootout win over the St. Louis Blues, and then looking completely out-classed in their loss to the Dallas Stars.
