Well, the first period was pretty good! Unfortunately for the Philadelphia Flyers, there were 40 minutes of hockey played after that, and Seattle was the far better team for the vast majority of that time. The Philadelphia Flyers played one of their more impressive games of the year on Saturday night, holding the high-powered Jets offense to a single goal through 65 minutes, allowing Matvei Michkov to come up with the lone goal in the shootout to give Philly a win over the NHL’s top team.Jamie Drysdale and Ivan Fedotov were the big heroes of the game, coming up with huge performances to stay even with the Jets through 65 minutes.Charlie & Bill discuss the win and the upcoming trade deadline.
