Episode 1 - It's all made up.

IT'S ALL MADE UP is the first episode of our new podcast on ADHD that my wife Tatiana and I have created in order to present parents with an alternative conversation around this so-called 'disorder'. In this episode we explore what makes a label and in this case a disorder a reality. Words create an entire universe, both physical and emotional. What if labels were all made up. They don't exist as such. So, how come we take these labels as reality? Our own son was diagnosed at the age of 7 and we decided to trust our gut feeling (you can call it intuition) to not accept this confidence-damaging label and to not medicate our son... even though his teacher and the principal of the school he was attending at the time suggested we do both in order to make sure he wouldn't end up a druggie or in prison. Listen in and feel for yourself. If you're on the fence whether to medicate your child or not, this podcast is definitely for you. There is nothing 'wrong' with your child. Your son or daughter is not broken. As a matter of fact, in this podcast, we explore the possibility that children on the spectrum might actually be here to tell us something. It's up to us to listen and to figure out what the message is. Enjoy the ride and if you would like more info on the podcast and the documentary we're in production with, please visit www.adhdisover.com and leave us a comment or send us an e-mail.
