Jessie and Kikkan teamed up to win gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics in the women's team sprint event, but their stories don't end there. Shortly after the Olympics, Kikkan was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now in remission, she is outspoken about her experience in order to help others. Jessie recently came out with a book "Brave Enough," in which she opens up about her struggle with an eating disorder in her late teens, and how she ultimately healed, then went on to become an Olympic champion. We are bringing you another special episode of Laughter Permitted called "Just for Laughs." The jumping off point: Our conversation with Dr. Colleen Hacker in which she pointed to laughter as the antidote to stress. Since Julie and Lynn are professional laughers, we figured we could help everyone out. Dr. Hacker also said we should keep up with our friends, and to even pick up the phone and call someone. So that's what we did. We called a couple of our pals, and asked for one thing: a funny story.
