From 2018Today Rich Koz aka Horror Host Svengoolie . A Chicago TV institution now a national celeb thanks to MeTV. Rich started as Svengoolie in 1979 when every big city still had local television entertainment . Every weekend he’d host a classic or cheesy horror film and do jokes parody songs and comedy sketches inbetween film scenes. He was there after the original horror hosts of the 50s and 60s like Vampira and Ghoulari but well before Elvira Joe Bob Briggs and Mystery Science Theater 3000.
