Andy learned how to build great organizations by building a great business, which he started in college then, grew into an Inc. 500 multi-million dollar national company that he successfully sold and exited. He graduated from Michigan State University in 2013 where he began working in the political realm in both the private sector as well as the legislative branch. Before leaving politics in 2018, he worked for a large healthcare association where he represented the political interests of hospitals throughout the state of Michigan.    Rick Sapio is a life-long entrepreneur who started his first company when he was 13 years old, after the untimely death of his father. Since then, he has founded more than 20 companies.    For 24 years, Rick has been the Founder and CEO of a financial holding company, Mutual Capital Alliance, Inc. (MCA), which has made more than 100 investments in the past 24 years. His firm has invested into private companies, public companies, start-ups, and real estate. Currently, MCA has dozens of direct and indirect holdings (through its funds) which include publicly-traded companies and funds, private funds, private companies, real estate, and loans. MCA is also an investor in 10 healthcare and medical device companies.    He is proud of being the Founding Chair and six-time Chair of the Gathering of Titans Program, an annual event held at MIT in Boston. He has worked 5 years professionally in accounting. He started at Ernst & Young  in public accounting and then transitioned into Detroit's startup community at Rock Ventures. He began his real estate investing career in 2016 by owning and self managing investments in Michigan. He also took an interest in real estate development before joining Rand Partners in 2019.
