How have development organisations been affected by the covid-19 pandemic? What steps are these organisations taking to respond and adapt their work? In this bonus mini episode, the producer of our series on Science, Policy & Pandemics sat down with Wateraid India's Executive Director VK Madhavan to discuss how his organisation is responding to the covid-19 crisis. Professor Nitya Rao is a Professor at the University of East Anglia, where her work focuses on gender equality, resource rights, social equity, and rural development. She is a member of the Global Advisory Committee of the UN Girls’ Education Initiative and the Global Forum on Food Security and Nutrition. Professor Sonalde Desai is a demographer whose work deals primarily with social inequalities in developing countries. She is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Maryland and Director of the National Data Innovation Centre at New Dehli’s National Council of Applied Economic Research. Dr Sukriti Chauhan is a global health advocate and policy professional. She holds a PhD in Law and Health from Jawaharlal University.
