Alright, nerd alert. Today’s guest, Bored Elon Musk, is just as big a nerdlinger as I am. Like we literally spend the first 20 minutes of the show talking about sci-fi movies, and how much the original Tron movie influenced both of us. BEM (for short), is a career-gaming executive and major advocate for web3 gaming. I wanted him to come on the show, and tell us why he is so bullish (to the point where he has angel invested tons), and what it will take for games to break through. He also helps iron out the different types of games that are played by the hundreds of millions, like Candy Crush, and how those may have even more potential than the big AAA names we’re expecting.

Jordan Lyall, founder of Venture Punk, joins us to talk about building creative projects in the space, and how he somehow always comes back around to making Santa Claus projects. 

Last night, we came BACK onto Twitter Spaces to chat what's current with our community. LG, TheReelPhilD, Quad, Dumbo, Christian from Evaluate, and Jack Wyldes from Shot Talkin' talk the issues of the day such as the Giannis sale on Sorare, the current leadership on FLOW, the launch of Doodles, and a changing of the guard on UFC Strike.

This is our first real collaboration at TFM! We were asked by Carly at Overpriced Jpegs (excellent podcast about NFTs) to write a show as part of "sports month" over there - and what came out was a status check on NFT Sports. In this episode, we look at the big players (Sorare, Dapper), their growth and revenue for 2021/2022, and then dive into the larger Macro stories in the sports world right now. Then we tie all back together. This episode also kicks off with a 40-minute segment where LG interviews Carly, asks about her come up into the space, and what special circumstance would make her give up her wedding day. 

Our guest today is The Collectibles Guru (Eric Whiteback), who is NEW to web3 but an expert in all things Cards, Ticket Stubs, and Video Games. This interview honestly blew my mind a little bit, as I realize just how broad the collectibles market really is. We keep it web3 though, and dive into the digital vs physical debate in the community. Truly a special one!

Out of all web3 sports projects, only ONE grew in active users through 2023. And today's we have its founder, Nicolas Julia, on the podcast to talk Sorare, Mbappe, Zidane, NBA, and the french tech scene. Plus, he drops some unexpected alpha midway through the episode about some exciting NFTs that may be coming to the platform.

Tropo is a guy who went from being a total shit poster to one of the biggest influencers in the NFT space - and now an actual nice guy! He joins the pod to talk gaming, influencing, relationships, beanie, and how mass adoption won't look the way we think it will.

Steve is a real one. He's a force for good in the NFT space, and in contrast to LG's doom and gloom mentality of late, he's excited about what the future holds in web3. He comes on the show to talk about his media company (dGen Network), the book he's writing about NFTs, and the first websites he ever built.
