Interviewing Bruna is such a breath of fresh air. She's not only taken leaps and bounds as a model since arriving in Australia but has given the expectations of fashion brands a real shake-up at the same time. We met via Whatsapp for a job during lockdown - when Melbourne couldn't shoot, but Sydney could. Jeweller and environmental advocate Holly Ryan talks building and rebuilding her namesake brand with the universe on her side.
Holly Ryan and her namesake brand are full of love, craftsmanship and integrity. As a brand, they're striving to minimise the impact by creating timeless designs that are inspired by art and nature. We chat about how she channels the world around her into wax carvings, eventually becoming the collections we see and adore. How she's grown her company and, most recently, how COVID and a huge curve ball created adversity that's only made her stronger. Check out Holly Ryan Jewellery here. Follow us on Instagram at @processthepodcastLeave a review, I'd love to hear what you think of my conversation with Holly! A note from Arielle, your host. I apologise for the quality of this episode's recording. All a part of the process, I was caught off guard by my own recording practice, and something went very wrong. This conversation means too much to me to not share, so I've done my best, and we're putting it out anyway! It basically just sounds like a conversation recorded on Zoom in an echoey room.
