Get What You Want By Focusing On What You Shouldn’t Do

During your downtime, do you catch yourself thinking about what you should be doing instead? Chris and I are working on shifting our language around those thoughts when they creep up and soaking up this time that we have in Wisconsin with our friends and family. It can be so easy to become the thief of your own peace by constantly focusing on what you should be doing to make more money and hit bigger goals. But, it’s so important to give yourself a break and enjoy the fruits of your labor. If you don’t, then why are you even hustling in the first place?    IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT: Recognizing when you’re sabotaging your own joy and peace  Looking at enjoyment as a sign that you'll be able to collapse time when you tap back into work mode Why making a better life is usually taking away things, not adding more to your to-do list An eye-opening journaling exercise from Four Thousand Weeks that really helped us get clear on our priorities    RESOURCES Sign up for The Spritz newsletter at litepink.com! If you're procrastinating and putting off your big goal because you want it to be perfect, that's just another version of an excuse.
