How should controversial historical figures be taught?

A statue dedicated to him was taken down in December of 2017, from the center of Memphis, Tennessee. Was it taken down the right way? Bob Hope - Married to two women at the same time?

🎙️Jenn discovered that Bob Hope was technically married to two women at the same time...and supposedly both marriages occurred in Erie, Pennsylvania. Since we were living in Erie at the time, Jenn decided to put her historian hat on and explore the locations where Bob Hope probably walked in February of 1933 AND 1934.
