He's concerned that the priest didn't say everything he needed to say.  Hear what Patrick says in response! He quotes St. John Vianney who said that "priests should be a lion at the pulpit and a lamb in the confessional." In other words, priests should be compassionate and show loving counsel when you receive this sacrament.
