Veronica - Because of my insistence with chastity, my husband and I had a quick engagement and got married as soon as possible Michael - My Catholic brother was asked to officiate a wedding of two non-Catholics. What should he do? Rick - I was married and then got an annulment at a young age. I committed to God before meeting my now-wife. I want to encourage the caller to stay virtuous and wait for marriage. Steve (email) – My ex-wife cheated on me and left the marriage and our 8 kids. We divorced. Do I need an annulment even though she’s the one who cheated and left? Email – Should I have my bible blessed? Carmen - In the Spanish translation of the Gospel they said 70x7, but in the English it says 77 times. Why are they different? Katie - How can we show appreciation to our Guardian Angels?

Total chaos.” Peter - Atheist can say human rights are inherent to the universe just as much as religious people can say rights are inherent to God. It is only in doubting your mental thoughts that you can be open to God's ideas.

Average parent spends more time on their devices than they do with their kids Edward - My wife and I would like to be more generous with our time. What can we do? Ashley - Thank you to RR. I came back to the Church through you. Rose (email) – I used to stop listening to segments of the show that dealt with abortion because it was too painful of a topic for me to hear. I now face this pain and I offer that pain to the Lord. Therese - I've had 3 abortions. If programs like this were around when I was young, I would not have had those abortions. Angela - As a teen mom, I want to tell people that they will never regret giving their child life.

Dominic - Is it a mortal sin for a Catholic Doctor to perform an abortion? Laura - My husband and I adopted 9 years ago and it is so lovely. Adoption is a great option. Joe - There is a young woman with down syndrome across the street who is always smiling. Her grandparents wanted her to be aborted. Marla - I was protestant and our minister advised us to use birth control. In a way that is aborting the fertilized egg. There is a great sorrow that I have for using birth control. Joey - I helped my fiancé get an abortion. She ended up having it, and I regret it. Email – Would a Catholic doctor be excommunicated if they prescribed abortion or birth control pills? Pamela - I am a sibling of an aborted baby and would like to share how that impacted me. It was a huge burden to find out I was missing a sibling. Patrick - My ex-wife had an abortion 35 years ago and it still hurts my heart. I think of it every day.

Andrew - My wife heard your call with Alicia. Thank you for all you do. Maggie - I had an abortion 44 years ago. Am I excommunicated because I had an abortion? Alex - Does the Bible support the idea of Purgatory and can I ask the souls in purgatory to pray for my family? Norman – My wife and I had an abortion but God has used that pain to open my eyes. I didn't know Christ until I came to Him with my deep sorrow and guilt. David - My wife miscarried and removing the dead child was very difficult. Mark - Do I need to physically touch the relic to get healed? Elle - Should I keep asking my 18-year-old son to go to church with me when he doesn't want to go? Steve - What would you say to people to think that they can sin because God will forgive them? Alicia seemed to have hinted to that idea in her call. Liana – My doctor recommended I use contraceptives because if I get pregnant I could die. What should I do?

If you feel shame for a sin in your life and you're holding it in, God wants to heal you and set you free.  In a deeply moving clip of The Patrick Madrid Show, caller Fernando bravely shared his heart-wrenching story. He confided in Patrick about his wife's abortion three years ago, a decision he never supported but was compelled to go along with. This was the first time Fernando had opened up about this painful chapter in his life, and his raw emotion was palpable. Fernando described the agonizing choice his wife made, driven by fear of their baby's potential illness. He recounted how they passed by protestors at an abortion clinic who offered a lifeline of hope, a sign that perhaps they should reconsider. But in the end, his wife went through with the abortion, and Fernando's heart shattered. Patrick Madrid responded with heartfelt compassion and offered profound words of comfort and guidance. He assured Fernando that his unborn child, innocent and blameless, was loved by God and would not be punished. There was hope for reunion in the afterlife. With unwavering faith, Patrick encouraged Fernando to seek forgiveness through Reconciliation, guiding him to a trusted priest named Father Don Kline. He emphasized the importance of confessing all sins and not holding anything back, including his coerced involvement in the abortion. Patrick urged Fernando to turn to the Rosary and invoke the intercession of the Blessed Mother. He shared the transformative power of daily prayer and Holy Communion, promising that these practices would infuse Fernando's soul with grace and strength. Furthermore, Patrick recognized Fernando as the spiritual leader of his household, capable of guiding his wife towards repentance and confession. He offered the comforting assurance that, with faith, patience, and love, they could heal together.
