David - I heard that when Christianity was expanding in the patristic period, a lot of things came in and twisted the faith. Is that true? Leo (13:37) - How do Protestants deal with the 10 commandments if they believe in “Faith Alone?” Rose - What was most influential person or thing that caused you to become Catholic? Matt (26:40)  - I think sometimes Apologetics offers too much info at once. Is there a good minimized version for Catholics to learn when defending the faith? Ann - Am I in trouble for not going to Sunday Mass because I don't want to be exposed to the crowds? Margaret - Why was it important to God that Jesus’ bones not be broken? I know it was prophesied. Drew - Young women are leaving the Catholic Church because they want to be more involved as Pastors and things. What should we do about this?

Vince - How do we respond to the 21st century explosion of technology which has given rise to humanism in our world today? Mary - Some people have told me that we are not Christian. I try to teach my catechism class that we are Christians and Catholics are the first Christians. Jose - The plus side of social media is we can listen to great people like you Ken to combat the bad media. Peter - The only way to get over the noise of information is to create direct experience with people.

Kathy - What God knowledge did Jesus give relinquish when he became man? John - Is it bad to watch or participate in a violent sport? i.e. MMA, Boxing or Football? Lila - My grandchildren don't believe in confession to a priest. How can I show them that confession is biblical? Ron - What is a good time to give children smart phones? Pat - What should the congregation do with their hands during Mass? Will God be mad at me when I get to heaven because I didn't take better care of my health? John - Is the apostolic blessing needed when you get the anointing of the sick? Cynthia - A priest told me I have a sacramental marriage even though you said I didn't have one last time I called. Could you clarify this for me? Marisol 8-years-old - Why does God love the devil? Alex - How did you become a priest? I am discerning myself. Why can deacons be married? Stacy - Can I go to a baby shower of a couple that is not married in the Church? James - I have a set of beads that has 1 Our Father, three Hail Mary’s, in 12 sets and a medal of Saint Joseph on it. What kind of rosary is this? Carl - After communion, is it okay to sit down when Jesus is put back in the tabernacle? During the Our Father prayer, can we raise our hands? Matt - I run a parish ministry and some people in my group are having difficulties with Pope Francis. How can I talk with them about this?

Special Guest Host Fr. Matthew Spencer takes questions about confession ranging from should you confess to a priest who, is a friend, to what to do if you can't remember your sins in the confessional. Check out this great hour! Al - I can't go to confession to my local priest because I know him to well and don't want him to think bad of me. What do you think of this? Margaret - I used to belong to a liberal Church that would encourage people to bake bread and take it to the priest to be consecrated. Was that valid? Denise - How can you do penance for sins done many years ago? Rafael - When a priest knows you well, I think the priest can give you good advice. The only caveat might be if you confess something illegal. Alonso - How can I help someone who is afraid to go to confession because of all the things they have to list? Joe - I went to confession last week and the priest did something different: He gave me absolution then he talked about my sin. Was that correct? Jennifer - Is smoking a sin? Mariana - The priest cut me off before I finished confessing. What should have I done? Was I absolved? Debbie - If you haven’t been to confession for a while and don't remember the number of times you missed a sin, can you make an educated guess?

Email – If I was interested in becoming Catholic, I wouldn’t be able to receive the Eucharist because I cannot tolerate gluten. Break 1 (20:10) Rebecca - There is a school student at our Mass, the Priest will consecrate a second Chalice for him to receive because he is gluten intolerant. It works great. Kenneth - Are there any special rules for the host used in adoration in the monstrance? What should I do if the Godparent of my child isn’t fulfilling their obligations? Can I get a new one? Email – Our son’s Godfather is Lutheran. Do we need to assign a new Catholic Godfather? Break 2 (34:10) Ann - Can you still consecrate the bread if you don't have wine? Listener with coeliac disease given the grace to be able to receive Jesus in the Eucharist (40:46) Rebecca - I have dealt with celiac disease. When I converted to the faith, I was actually able to receive Jesus in the host and not get sick Renee - How can I bring back my Godchild who left the faith?
