Talia Khan highlights the rise of antisemitism at MIT  - "This is the same climate of antisemitism that has led to the massacre of Jews throughout the centuries. This is not just harassment. This is our lives on the line." Presidents of @Harvard, @MIT, and @Penn REFUSE to say whether “calling for the genocide of Jews” is bullying and harassment according to their codes of conduct. Even going so far to say it needs to turn to “action” first. As in committing genocide. Break 1 (21:37) Patrick asks, “What if we substitute the word Jew with black, gay, trans, or Catholic? We have to stand up against this.” Craig - American Universities have accepted large grants from China and Islamic Countries, so I think they are trying to appease their benefactors. Ed - Anti-Semitic comments seem to be based on fear of taking a stand on anything because of the Muslims.
