Lux Occult

Join Luxa for a short introduction and a sound magick track.  It’s a sort of sonic offering to Hekate, a  Deipnon, or feast, which was traditionally given to her during the dark  moon. The track includes a shoal of sigils and some cut up poetry, as  well as audio from several related operations I ran as part of its  creation. The beat is symbolic of Hekate leading the spirits of the  unavenged and wrongfully killed up from Hades, which the Ancient  Athenians thought happened during the liminal time between moons. The  Deipnon was a means of placating them. This special bonus mini-episode features sound magick created by Luxa as part of a New Moon working as well as an introduction with some of the rationale that went into its creation. This particular creative outburst took the form of a strange ambient track featuring bibliomancy, procedurally generated haiku, automatic writing based on a tarot spread, spicy cut-ups, and 27 chimes of a church bell. Also, a sonic sigil in the form of the NATO phonetic alphabet and Tibetan Singing Bowls with frequencies attributed to planet Venus as well as an underlying binaural tones for Mineral Copper at 464 Hz.
