Kenneth Roth is the American attorney, former federal prosecutor, and executive director of Human Rights Watch. With over 450 people in 100 countries, he investigates and reports on rights abuses happening in all corners of the world. In 1997, Kenneth was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for helping introduce the Mine Ban Treaty, which saved countless lives. Roth has documented war crimes in Bosnia, Iraq and Sierra Leone, and he has also done extensive work to end the use of child soldiers. Over the past 4 decades the American has expanded the Human Rights Watch reach, growing the organization eight-fold.
