Does a mistake from your past define you? Have you been telling the same one story of God working in your life for years? Sometimes we only see what we want to see. At other times, we don’t believe our eyes. It’s always easier to believe in things we’ve already seen and write off the things we haven’t. It’s disconcerting to hear someone say they care about something but not see it reflected in the way they live, especially within the church. Many Christians claim to value the teachings of Jesus but have a hard time putting those lessons into practice. We don’t want to be hypocritical Christians. Doubt is not a sign of weak faith. Your questions just might be the thing that lead you into a deeper relationship with God.   If you’ve been told that doubt is a sin or that it will only lead to "backsliding” away from Christianity, this message will reject shame and welcome you into a sacred space where God is okay with your uncertainty. Many people find themselves mentally, emotionally, or spiritually immature because they weren’t raised in an environment that was conducive to growth. No matter where you are in your faith, God loves to see you grow.
