Manesh is a PhD researcher in Neuroscience at McGill University and has  been the lead or co-author on over a dozen scientific publications and book chapters on topics including psychedelics. He actively collaborates with leaders in psychedelic science such as Dr. Robin Carhart-Harris, and is also also Chief Research Officer at the psychedelic bioscience company EntheoTech Bioscience. Today's guest is Javid Jah. With a background in public art and an education in architecture, Javid Jah’s practice explores the traditional origins of sacred geometry. He works in multiple disciplines to produce work that is site-specific, spatial and symbolically aligned to cosmic archetypes. Based in Toronto, Canada, his work integrates various techniques from the Islamic arts, including calligraphy, geometric pattern and traditional architectural forms such as Muqarnas. In 2015, he got into the 500 Global Flagship Accelerator Program and launched Lawtrades, one of the first marketplaces for legal services that made it easy for big companies to hire legal freelancers. The company has gone on to raise $9.7m in total funding and freelancers earn millions on the platform every year. In 2019, he started publishing a newsletter called Spacecult. She takes her place among thought leaders in the area of decolonization, particularly as it applies to language, art, economics and gender. She encourages the “lateral liberation” of consciousness by drawing from the embodied knowledge of Indigenous peoples.
