Breaking News: Manchester City FFP Champions League ban overturned
Manchester City have had their two-year Champions League ban overturned and fine lowered by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. City had been issued the ban in February after Uefa found they had committed 'serious breaches' of Financial Fair Play regulations between 2012 and 2016. But the ban has been overturned after Cas cleared the Manchester club of "disguising equity funds" through sponsorship deals done. City have been fined 10m euros. However, that is reduced from their initial 30m euros fine. Join Guy Clarke and Matt Addison as they discuss the implications of the ruling for Pep Guardiola's side, their biggest rivals Liverpool, and the integrity of the financial model moving forward. The Liverpool Echo sends a twice-daily Liverpool FC bulletin out via email with the all latest news, views and analysis from Anfield.
