He’s the author of 8 books, including Firestorm: how Wildfire will shape our future and Dark Days at Noon: the future of fire, both written in the aftermath of the Fort McMurray blaze. He’s a regular contributor to Yale Environment 360, an international online publication of the Yale School of the Environment. His articles appear in Scientific American, Policy Options, Canadian Geographic, among others. He makes his home in Edmonton Alberta, 4 hours east of Jasper, across Highway 16.Kate Lindsay is the Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer at the Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC). Kate is a graduate of the University of Victoria and a Registered Professional Biologist (R.P.Bio). At FPAC, Kate was selected to participate in formal advisory roles to the federal government, including as co-lead of the Species at Risk Advisory Committee and a member of the Pathway to Target 1, National Advisory Panel (NAP).
