Both Dan's stories seem to present exceptionally strong evidence for life after death. The first comes from the state of Illinois and is the exceptionally strange late 19th century tale of the Watseka Wonder.  Then his second story takes us back to the early 18th century to Canterbury, England. Did famed English author Daniel Defoe write  the first based-on-a-true story ghost encounter claim? Lynze begins the back half of the show with a creepy encounter with a shadowy figure inside of the mind of someone playing a game. Then, we are off to New Orleans where we hear about two fans strange stay in a French Quarter hotel. Monthly Patreon Donation: This months charitable donation is going to Ignite Adaptive Sports. Ignite Adaptive Sports mission is to provide snow sport opportunities to people with disabilities. They believe that everyone should be able to enjoy winter sports, regardless of skill or ability level. We are a volunteer based organization that provide snow sport lessons to athletes with disabilities out of Eldora Mountain Resort.  In 2024, 320 volunteers gave 22,390 hours of their time to provide 1,690 snowsports lessons to 459 athletes. Ignite Adaptive Sports provides sit skiing lessons, cross country and snowshoe lessons, downhill skiing, snowboarding and ski biking lessons. They rely on grants, donations, an annual fundraising gala, and our host mountain Eldora to be able to provide this much needed service. Dan and Lynze had the pleasure of meeting Sam Brady who works with this great non profit. Sam shared with us that Ignite Adaptive Sports is run by almost all volunteers with only 2 paid staff members. They typically receive funding for disabled veterans to be able to receive lessons  at no cost to them. However, this year,  due to budget cuts in the DEI space, it’s not looking good. Sam asked if we’d be interested in supporting this cause and supporting disabled people, especially disabled veterans. We sent $11,600 over to them and put another $1250 into the scholarship fund! The first story Dan gives us this week was posted online by a man claiming to have recently resolved a  haunting from his childhood apartment. It's bizarre and twisted. We hope all our Creeps and Peeper are also unsettled by our tales this week. Dan starts off in  North Carolina with a story about a man who tried to transform into an actual demon. And some think he was, in a way, successful. Then, his second tale is the story of some of the residents of a housing development outside of Houston, built on a forgotten cemetery, who claim that the spirits of those whose remains were disrespected were both awakened and angered by the destruction of their final resting place. Lynze has three stories today! Her first also takes us to Texas where a strange situation occurs with a neighbor. Then, a woman traveling alone has the creepiest taxi ride to her hotel. First, we head to Korea where Dan shares stories about one of the most disturbing ghosts The Kong-Kong Gwishin. She is the ghost of a schoolgirl doomed to haunt in death those who remind her of her tormenters in life. Then Dan take us to Poland, to the little Polish border town of Gubin, where an anonymous man on Reddit claims his parents experienced something truly horrifying long ago. We begin this week with an especially terrifying creature from Indonesia known as the Pontianak . Dan will share the lore of the Pontianak and then a handful of supposed modern encounters with this vengeful, angry, female, vampiric spirit. Next, Dan shares Ontario, Canada’s Baldoon Mystery. A good ol’ fashioned poltergeist story with a very strange twist from the 19th century. For stories three and four, Lynze brings us a ouija board double whammy, unintentionally.
