Remembering The Dandelion Market

Bobby was broadcasting today from the Three Store on Grafton Street to celebrate Three’s Grants for Small Businesses Programme for 2024, just a stone’s throw away from the Stephens Green Centre. But before the shopping centre was built, the site was home to The Dandelion Market, home to hippies and punks selling everything youth culture in the 70s and 80s needed. Damian Corless, author, playwright, and scriptwriter who has penned more than a dozen volumes on Irish history and culture, joins Bobby to look back at its impact and legacy.
