Dr David Capes on how Paul interprets the Old Testament, the Divine Name, and Jesus as Lord

Dr. David Capes is the Senior Research Fellow at the Lanier Theological Library in Houston, TX and distinguished New Testament Scholar. He is an expert on the Apostle Paul and New Testament study. His specific area of interest is how the Apostle Paul uses the Old Testament in the New Testament. In particular he focuses on how Paul will use OT passages about God and reapply them to be about Jesus in the NT and what the Christological implications of the hermeneutics are.
