We have not one, but two guests on the show this week! John and Lily are father and daughter, who both selflessly give up their lives to volunteer for the RNLI. They are constantly on call to answer their pagers (yes, they still exist in 2023), suit up and head out to sea to rescue people on lifeboats... sometimes mid-roast dinner, which comes with its own roast potato related dilemmas. They rescue people from place crashes, sinking yachts and many other dangerous situations. Well, when we were in Manchester for the tour, we met up with Andy Burnham, the mayor of Greater Manchester, and it turns out he doesn't actually do either of those things much.
