I was on the Natural Resource Stocks podcast about the future of Ukraine, Russia and NATO. The world is shifting toward multipolarity, which suggests that the US must readjust its position toward other great powers. US-European interests will no longer align as they did under unipolarity and bipolarity, and competing interests will create friction. The Europeans have trapped themselves within a myriad of false narratives that prevent necessary adjustment, and the subsequent desperation fuels more irrational policies.

Dmitri Polyanskiy, Alexander Mercouris & Glenn DiesenDmitri Polyanskiy, the First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, discusses diplomacy with the US. Polyanskiy argues that Russia is prepared to continue its military operation until its objectives are achieved through either military means or diplomacy. The US has accepted the key conditions in a peace agreement that must include restoring Ukraine’s neutrality, accepting territorial concessions, and no US security guarantees. However, a ceasefire without a political settlement would risk merely becoming an opportunity for the US and Europeans to rearm Ukraine.

I had a conversation with Alastair Crooke and Alexander Mercouris about the geoeconomic confusion in Europe. The US is repositioning itself as the unipolar world order has ended, and multipolarity is already here. The Europeans have no strategy and the policies subsequent lack direction and reason. In Isreal, society has polarised to the extent that political and societal instability will become a challenge to national security.
