Send us a textIn many situations, directors walk into positions where they have to rebuild a band program on the verge of extinction or on the decline. This can be a daunting task for any director. Eric and Justin will share some of their experiences rebuilding a band program in the heart of the city of Houston. Eric and Justin served on the band director staff for the Heights High School Band in the Houston Independent School District. In three years, the program grew from 56 returning members to 165. From one concert and jazz band to 4 concert bands, 2 jazz bands, an award-winning percussion program and an UIL area advancing marching band.
