There are different roles in a meeting but leading a meeting is perhaps the most important. You've got to welcome and introduce people, kick off, keep the flow of the meeting going and make sure that people contribute and stick to the agenda. Ask is a verb that has a big return on investmentif you can learn to use it properly. It's a core verb and the structures that I talk about in this episode are essential ones that you will have to use at some point. It's worthwhile putting in time to hear what they are and also some common things people do wrong that you can get right. I've been working on these recently with my clients and there have been several "aha" moments where they realised they had been using the wrong structure.
