There are different roles in a meeting but leading a meeting is perhaps the most important. You've got to welcome and introduce people, kick off, keep the flow of the meeting going and make sure that people contribute and stick to the agenda. This is nothing new in your own language but in English I know it might feel overwhelming at times when you have 5 people staring at you waiting for the meeting to start. Let me help you with some core vocabulary for each phase of standard business meeting.Enjoy!ANNA'S LINKSSign up to the newsletter - get exclusive content about the podcast and be the first to hear about news and offersFind me on Instagram - put a face to the nameListen to me with my co-host Andrew on Culips English ChatterboxSupport the podcast - Donate to help my free podcast keep going. Get clarity on 3 very important structures with the verb Ask

Ask is a verb that has a big return on investmentif you can learn to use it properly. It's a core verb and the structures that I talk about in this episode are essential ones that you will have to use at some point. It's worthwhile putting in time to hear what they are and also some common things people do wrong that you can get right. I've been working on these recently with my clients and there have been several "aha" moments where they realised they had been using the wrong structure. I really recommend spending a little time listening to this one. Enjoy! ANNA'S LINKSSign up to the newsletter - get exclusive content about the podcast and be the first to hear about news and offersFind me on Instagram - put a face to the nameListen to me with my co-host Andrew on Culips English ChatterboxSupport the podcast - Donate to help my free podcast keep going.
