Creating Magic Moments with Steve Sims

The man who created Bluefish, the internationally famous company that makes once in a lifetime events happen for the rich and famous. Sims has arranged many adventures for clients. Sims has networked and befriended many powerful people including: Donald Trump, Sting, Andrea Bocelli and Elon Musk. In 2016, Sims landed a publishing deal with Simon & Schuster for his book, "Bluefish: The Art of Making Things Happen". Sims current project features an app called Taste of Blue that offers a more accessible route to unique and luxury outcomes. Sims has been featured in over 30 TV shows, over 60 major publications, and has spoken at many events including Harvard.6:01 -  6:25  While everyone stood around going, "I'd love to do this", and then spending the next 20 minutes telling you why it can't be done, I am like the Emperor's New Clothes, I'm sitting there scratching my head. "Why can't you? You have the resources to do it. Why aren't you doing it?" -Steve Sims08:47- 8:54  I always believe that if you get the wrong answer, you are asking the wrong person the wrong question.  - Steve Sims11:14 - 11:28 People don't do stuff. They don't set goals immediately. They put up the walls of objection, and naturally stick themselves in a hole and go "I can't do it".15:01 - 15:07  Surround yourself with people who have the same goals as you. 15:53 - 16:05  Any relationship has to have a value. If you look at anyone that you hang around with, be selfish and self-centered and ask yourself the question: "What do they bring to the relationship?"  - Steve Sims22:06 - 22:12  Never ask a question that can be answered with a "yes" or  a "no" unless those are the answers you're willing to accept. -Steve Sims22:49 - 23:16   The best way to get you to interact with me, is getting someone to introduce us. If I contact you, and I say, hey, talk to you, because I'm brilliant. I'm wonderful. I've done these amazing things, you're gonna turn around and think he's self promoting these arrogant, he's, you know, he's full of himself. But if I get your best friend or someone that's credible, to introduce us. Now it's gospel. -Steve Sims26:19 - 26:29   We need to get back to learning how to communicate. I don't believe I'm a great negotiator. I don't believe I'm a great communicator. I just believe I communicate well enough. - Steve Sims35:18 - 35:31   You can lose your money but you can't lose your dreams and your memories, and those stories. 45:30 - 45:52   Identify and calculate your "pain" so you can avoid it. But you should always remember it. Never the pain because that's what's gonna drive you. Note: If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at  support@pkexperience.com.Content Disclaimer: The information contained above is provided for information purposes only. My Fight For Truth Against The World’s Most Powerful with Sharyl Attkisson

Emmy Award winning investigative journalist. She's been an anchor and correspondent at CNN. She's also worked at CBS News for many years . She is the host of Sinclair's Sunday TV program full measure. Her first book was called “Stonewalled” by fighting for truth against the forces of obstruction, intimidation and harassment and Obama's Washington. Her second one was called the “Smear” how shady political operatives and fake news control what you see, what you think and how you vote. 7:17 - 7:37 Do not believe anything easily. It doesn't mean it's false, doesn't mean it's not true, but it might be out of context. And you just can't tell these days. You just have to suspend your belief system for the moment till you know more.7:40 - 8:07 There's transparency with technology. We can find out what anybody said, whenever. On the other hand, technology has actually been a tool for manipulation, channeling the narrative in a way that serves an agenda as opposed to actually telling the truth.8:59 - 9:15  Saryl Attkisson's take on current news: If they're all talking about the same couple of stories, and almost nothing else, that makes me suspicious. My automatic thought is not, hey, that's true. Or Gee, that's a burning news topic. My automatic thought is, who's putting that out, you know, who wants this narrative to be furthered? 13:41 - 14:07  Try not to take stories in general. Stories are brought to reporters through what look like charities, nonprofits, PR firms, or certain sources. And they're speaking on behalf of paid clients in ways they don't always disclose. 20:26 - 20:36  To understand human behavior is to understand that not everybody thinks the same way.25:09 - 25:34  The possibility for manipulation and the possibility for channeling thought is very human nature.33:37 -  34:14  Learn to compartmentalize facts from your own personal emotions. How you feel about certain things doesn't necessarily mean it's the truth.Note: If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at  support@pkexperience.com.Content Disclaimer: The information contained above is provided for information purposes only. Discover Your Purpose with Simon Sinek

8:08 - 8:14 It's all about knowing... but before you start with why you do, you have to know why you do what you do. 10:15 - 10:24 Our very survival depends on our ability to surround ourselves with people who believe on what we believe.10:25 - 10:29  When we are surrounded by people on what we believe. Trust emerges!10:34 - 10:48 When we're in an environment, when we're in a community, when we're in a neighborhood, when we're in a company, where we trust them, and they trust us, we're more willing to take risks, we're more willing to explore, we're more willing to experiment with the confidence. 15:42 - 16:37  The whole concept of some of these branding exercises, where you go out into the market and ask all your customers what you should, who you should be and what you should do. 20:47 - 20:52  Thomas Edison says, a Vision Without execution is hallucination.20:56 - 21:04  You can have the world's biggest vision. But if you can't actually execute, if you can't actually get anything out the door, that's going to fail.29:11 - 29:29 If you feel that you belong there, understanding your own purpose and trying to understand why you why you love it there and, and even if you all you can talk about his experience, even if all you can talk about is your own personal experience and anecdote that that's enough to resonate with the people who believe what you believe.43:31 - 43:36 The goal is not to serve all customers. The goal is to serve the people who believe what you believe.46:37 - 46:41  People who believe what you believe will take risks on you.Note: If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at  support@pkexperience.com.Content Disclaimer: The information contained above is provided for information purposes only.
