Munster will be back in Thomond Park tomorrow, and some questions have been raised around their recent performances and what is happening with the team. Ronan O'Gara and Paul O'Connell both stopped by on Gift Grub to try to answer these questions, and Paul is ready to head straight to Thomond Park if necessary.

Just when he thought he was out, they pull him back in - Michael Flatley is back as Agent Blackbird for one more mission. Gift Grub brings you the trailer for the sequel to Blackbird, and he's taking on cheating in Irish Dancing. He made Irish dancing dirty, and now he's going to make it clean!

After Amber Barrett scored the historical goal that sends us to the World Cup next year, Gift Grub got some of the reaction to the good news. Michael D. Higgins heaped the praise on the team, Miriam O'Callaghan recreated the goal in the back garden, Eamon Dunphy called time on Stephen Kenny's position, and Michael O'Leary announced new routes for Ryanair.

Ian was thrilled to speak to the hero of the hour, Amber Barrett, this morning after she scored the goal that sent Ireland to the World Cup. Amber told Ian that she doesn't really remember the moment when she scored the goal, and she spoke about how lucky the team are to have had their dream come true. She also spoke about dedicating her goal to Creeslough and how difficult the last few days have been, while emphasizing the importance of community.

The Girls in Green are getting ready to take on Scotland tonight, and on Gift Grub it was a women's special on Radio Roy. Roy was caught unawares when Ireland manager Vera Pauw showed up with big plans for Radio Pauw. It didn't take long to see the improvements - even Ann and Con were thriving!

Over the weekend we found out what group Ireland would be in the the Euro 2024 qualifiers, and it wasn't exactly what we would have hoped for. On Gift Grub Mick McCarthy wasn't feeling very optimistic, but Eamonn Dunphy feels the complete opposite and is already packing his bags!

The IMRO Radio Awards took place in Kilkenny last Friday and Gift Grub took home the Gold award for Entertainment Inserts on the night. Higgins commended an incredible artist, Keith Duffy tried out some of his own impressions, and Frank Greaney delivered a report from the scene.

For the last few weeks, the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show has been on the hunt for Ireland's Greatest Accent and have heard from people the length and breadth of the country. On the final day of the search, Gift Grub got involved and there were representatives from each of the finalists. Heather Humphries made her pitch for Monaghan, President Michael D. Higgins was representing Galway, Daniel O'Donnell read a car manual to display the beauty of Donegal, and Pat Spillane went all in for Kerry.

It was reported earlier this week that "squeaky bum time" and "park the bus" have been added to the Oxford English Dictionary. On Gift Grub, some football other managers wanted the same glory as Alex Ferguson and José Mourinho, so they had Ian check the dictionary for some of their famous phrases. Mick McCarthy's making every known a plural was checked, Brian Kerr had a few options too; banjoed, woejus, and dunt. As for Stephen Staunton? Haven't a scooby do.

There was a big reaction when a woman called in to Liveline after seeing an apparition of Padre Pio in her bannister. It turns out she's not alone - on Gift Grub, there were hundreds of apparitions being reported. Joe heard about Twink appearing in someone's Weetabix, the image of Chris deBurgh in snooker balls, and even a weeping Daniel O'Donnell in the condensation on a shower door.
