Well, after weeks of anticipation, the day has finally arrived. After 14 years in the hot seat, Ryan Tubridy presents his final Late Late Show tonight. No doubt, emotions will be running high in Montrose. The man of the moment joined Ian on the line this morning...

Munster take on Stormers this Saturday in the URC Final in Capetown. The boys in red have made the trip to South Africa and it's all systems go for the match. Some of the Gift Grub crew decided to make use of the time away to enjoy the sights and sounds of South Africa...

In our latest trip to primary schools across the country, Shauna headed off to meet the students from St Mary's NS in Arva, Co.Cavan. She caught up with students in Junior Infants, Senior Infants, 1st, 2nd and 3rd class and spoke to Senan, Shane, Noah, Brody, Jack, Eabha, Angel, Faye, Eoghan, Harry, Heidi , Sybil, Iarla, Harry, Elliot, William, Bobby, Ryan, Shay, Ellie, Max and Jack First of all, she asked the kids about ‘Cavanisms’ – the unique accent and slang that you’d hear in Cavan and Cavan alone and she also asked them about all the housework they do at home... Recently, we were talking about the fact that for 55% of people, the general tidying of the house is a major sticking point, so I asked the kids about their own favourite jobs in the house and if they pulled their weight! Thanks to teacher Ms Killian who organised the visit and to Ms Harten and Ms Smith!

Well, Ireland is set to be hotter than Malaga this week and the mood is good. Beer gardens and beaches up and down the country are heaving, as people kick back and enjoy the limited-edition Irish Summer. Even our own president, Michael D Higgins has embraced his sunny side....

Would you watch a TV show based on John Delaney's life?! Well, the word broke last week that Champagne Football, the book about the infamous former FAI chief, was to be adapted into a drama. Patrick Kielty has been named as the new host of The Late Late Show and this morning's Gift Grub saw some of the show's old reliables and regulars opening up about their delight. Dermot Bannon, Francis Brennan and Daniel O'Donnell amongst others, felt it was time for a freshen up....

Leinster fans were heartbroken this weekend, after Saturday's loss to La Rochelle in the European Rugby Champions Cup Final. La Rochelle coach, Ronan O'Gara joined Ian on the line this morning to commiserate...

It was an action-packed weekend for fans of the GAA. The Munster Hurling Championship brought some serious excitement, with a tight match between Limerick and Tipperary and a late point securing Clare's victory over Cork, for a place in the Munster final. Our resident GAA fan, Morgaaaan Freeman joined Ian to give him the full rundown...

Katie Taylor brought Dundrum Town Centre to a standstill earlier this week, when she staged a public work-out, ahead of her much-anticipated fight on Saturday night. However, she joined Ian on the line this morning and explained how she was doing more than exercise out there; Penneys got a lash too!
