It featured all the usuals like 'Where Are The Rest Of Your Clothes', 'Have You Started That Pension' and 'What Time Do You Call This'. Des Scahill nearly blew a fuse commentating on this spectacular race.

Forget Tinder, Bumble or Hinge, the Today FM Ski Trip has to be Ireland's most successful matchmaking event. Eimear Ryan texted into The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show this morning to tell Ian that she will be bridesmaid at her friend's wedding today and explained that the happy couple met on the Today FM Ski Trip. Ian surprised the soon-to-be newlyweds with a call and heard all about how they met at the Monday night quiz! Congratulations, Anne-Marie and Kevin!

Aisling's School Tour was back on The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show this week and Aisling gatecrashed Sports Day at Castlerahan National School in County Cavan to chat to the kids in Ms Campbell's 4th class. Aisling spoke to Nathan, Sophia, Molly, Senan, TJ, Aidan, Ben R, Ben S, Sarah, Freya, James, Libby, Jaime, Layla, Conor, Sasha, Lucy, Carrie and Charlie. Following a survey in the news that revealed that half of pet owners sleep with their pets, Aisling asked the kids whether their pets are allowed to sleep in their beds. And since it was the day after Nadine Coyle's birthday, Aisling asked the kids whether they'd ever been caught in a lie in memory of Nadine's famous date of birth fiasco.

Over on Sinn Féin FM, Mary Lou McDonald and Gerry Adams celebrated by launching a new sister station, Spin Féin 103.2.

When Top Gun: Maverick was released last month, Gift Grub imagined what a Top Gun-style training programme would look like for Ryanair newcomers. Michael 'Maverick' O'Leary put new recruits through their paces navigating the Ryanair website, taking on Dublin Airport security queues and performing a safety demonstration.
