In the perception of God, your old nature is dead. We’re learning that death to self is not an action on our part because Jesus has already accomplished this on the cross. Radical Permission #2: You are one with Christ, which means that the Father loves you in exactly the same way He loves Jesus. Everyday, in every situation, we are celebrating that truth. I am not asking on behalf of these alone, but also for those who believe in Me through their word, that they may all be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

Radical Permission #1: God’s unchanging heart can always be depended upon. His consistent goodness allows us to stand in absolute confidence of who He will be for us no matter what is occurring.

The world doesn’t read its Bible, but it does read its Christians. What if the key to unlocking someone’s heart isn’t always dependent on how well you can communicate the main points of the Gospel? What if the key rests in simply taking a moment to tune in to the relational heart of God? Key Scriptures: + Isaiah 41:9. I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. + John 16:13. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.
