Many love to study theology but for some theology becomes an idol that causes division within the Body of Christ. So many people argue that Christians can lose their salvation. They often turn to Hebrews 6:4-6 to make their case. However, Does Hebrews 6 teach that one can lose their salvation? We need to start by asking who saved us? It was not us. Philippians teaches that God is both the Author and Finisher of our faith. Therefore, God is the one that saves us not us. If God saves us then only God can revoke that gift and Romans 11:29 states that it is irrevocable.
