The Roman Catholic Church differs from Biblical Christianity in many areas of theology. We evaluate the differences in their authority, view of Mary, how a person can be righteous before God and what happens after we die. The Supreme Court ruled on the Masterpiece Cakeshop case about Christian baker that refused to use his talents to make a custom wedding cake for a same-sex marriage wedding. We talk about the case with attorney Mike Laffey of Messina Law Frim. We will give an overview of the case and question whether this was a win for religious freedom or not. So many people argue that Christians can lose their salvation. They often turn to Hebrews 6:4-6 to make their case. However, Does Hebrews 6 teach that one can lose their salvation? We need to start by asking who saved us? It was not us. Philippians teaches that God is both the Author and Finisher of our faith. Therefore, God is the one that saves us not us. If God saves us then only God can revoke that gift and Romans 11:29 states that it is irrevocable.
