What’s So Bad About Marxism?

Many people today are talking about Marxism in glowing terms; it’s not hard to find a college student sporting a Che Guevara t-shirt.  Very few take Marxism seriously as an idea. That’s a mistake. Marxism is here, and make no mistake—it is playing for keeps. Marxism is a philosophy but when it is lived out—communism is the result. A Marxist is a person who embraces the philosophy of Karl Marx; a Communist is a person who applies Marx’s ideas to the government and the economy.
