In 2018, our family was going through a painful time. We were grieving the loss of a friendship while at the same time, struggling to keep what felt like fifteen balls in the air. One by one, the balls began to drop as night after night, I was awakened by thoughts of insecurity and stemming from the pain in my heart. I wanted the Lord to rescue me. Like David, I was weary. Why is the church in such a weakened state today? In part, because of sin. The world will tempt you to compromise with sin.  It will offer you enough of Jesus to stay out of hell but not enough to walk in victory.  Stay on the path! Do not compromise with evil.
