It’s hard to look at what’s happening in our world right now without feeling a sense of deep frustration and even anger. We see politicians and bureaucrats making nonsensical and damaging decisions. “Woke” corporations are holding their customers hostage with non-scientific mask mandates and making overtly racist decisions, further eroding our relationships and tearing our nation apart. As our children grow and mature, our relationship with them changes. I think of this like a caterpillar spinning a cocoon. We often don’t know how long this transition will last or what our relationship is going to look like. This can be a difficult thing to navigate—but if you hang in there, the fruit of having great relationships with your adult children will bless you for generations.
