Ilona Salo is a Data Privacy Intern at Tesla working at the European HQ in Amsterdam. She undertook her Law LLB at the University of Warwick and then completed a masters in International Business Law at the University of Helsinki. After gaining experience at several other businesses, Ilona and I discuss how she got into Law and technology, what her job involves at Tesla and how Data Protection under the GDPR is handled in a multinational company. Claudia Nyon is a University of Warwick graduate, studying the UK Bar course (the BPTC) as a member of the Middle Temple in London. Having taken part in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in an online format this year, we discuss online hearings.
