Toilet Radio 596 – The Best Songs of 2025

It’s an annual tradition. On the eve of the worst most popular metal and hard rock songs of the year, we celebrate by listening to the songs we liked best this year. Jordan didn’t find much in the world of heavy metal that turned his crank so he turned his ears to the sounds orbiting metal. Like every year, I just wanna rock so I found a few rockin’ tunes for you to get hyped to. If you like anything here, I highly recommend that you check out these bands and buy their albums, go see their shows, and otherwise hype them up. We will see you next week for the biggest mess of the year. Music featured on this episode: Deadlock – Acedia – The Downfall’s Symphony Steröid – Arena Show (Rockin’ Alone) The Birthday Massacre – Wish ESOCTRILHIUM – Hypnotic Danse Macabre of the Blind Noctivagants Wisp – Sword Wytch Hazel – Elements This program is available on Spotify. It is also available on iTunes or whatever they call it now, where you can rate, review, and subscribe. Give us money on Patreon to get exclusive bonus episodes and other cool shit.

Toilet Radio 595 – An Alter Ego Named Feta

This week on Toilet Radio: Further updates on Dogma, the worker exploitation factory that also sometimes releases music. We talk about the saga of Vitriol, a tech death band that dumped their singer on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere on the middle of a tour. We had a twinge of sympathy for Kyle, the singer, until he started tweeting about his alter ego. Cradle of Filth, a licensed limited partnership, is being sued by former members for a ton of valid reasons including Dani Filth saying some out of pocket dumb bullshit about them. Music: it’s a still a business, just not a profitable one. Music featured on this episode: Enragement – Hypercarniverous This program is available on Spotify. It is also available on iTunes or whatever they call it now, where you can rate, review, and subscribe. Give us money on Patreon to get exclusive bonus episodes and other cool shit.

Toilet Radio 592 – Baltic! Live!

This week on Toilet Radio: Fred Durst has been BANNED from Estonia due to his bizarre history with the Russian Federation. We talk about washed-up metal guys forming strange alliances with baltic states. ALSO, the new vocalist of Vulvodynia was announced and then IMMEDIATELY had accusations drop. Let’s play bingo with ChatGPT denial statements. Jeffrey Nothing of Mushroomhead says his homeopathic cancer treatments are working but I’m still skeptical that grape juice tinctures can defeat colorectal cancer tbqh. Finally, we do a deep dive on Dogma, a band you’re probably not familiar with. We dive into allegations that a shady manager and promoter has been hiring women as indentured servants and leaving to placed in custody when he refuses to provide them with legally required visas, all for the promise of $100 a performance. It’s a mess. Music featured on this episode: Syrion – Symphony of Horror This program is available on Spotify. It is also available on iTunes or whatever they call it now, where you can rate, review, and subscribe. Give us money on Patreon to get exclusive bonus episodes and other cool shit.

Toilet Radio 588 – The Dungeonmaster (ft. Liz Layne)

This week Jordan is joined by returning champion Liz Layne! You’ll remember Liz from our episode on Trick Or Treat or from her many other cool podcasts and projects. This time we’re talking about The Dungeonmaster (1984), a horror anthology of sorts run by the notorious Charles Band of Puppetmaster, Evil Bong, The Gingerdead Man, etc. etc. infamy. This one HEAVILY features W.A.S.P. in their hard partying prime. It also heavily features Richard Moll from Night Court as an evil wizard. Listen in as Jordan and Liz talk about “little feller” horror, this film’s connection with Drab Majesty, and forgotten dime store erotic slashers like Zipperface. Folks… it’s a good one. There’s only one episode of the October Spooktacular left. Sign up to the Patreon to hear the bonus episode in which me and Jordan cover Cronenberg’s misunderstood masterpiece, eXistenZ. Toilet Radio 587 – The Brood (ft. Joaquin Stick)

The October Spooktacular continues! This week we’re joined by the Toilet’s own Joaquin Stick to watch David Cronenberg’s most divorced movie! We’re watching The Brood (1979), a simple tale of twisted little homunculi burst from the external sac of a hateful women and hellbent on beating people to death with tiny hammers. We’ve got pseudoscientific cults, slammin’ 70s style, hard-drinkin’ grandmas, proto-men’s rights activism, misogyny, and bloody fetus licking! Overall, Cronenberg was not in a great place when he made this movie! That sucks for him but we had a great time talking about it. Folks…….. it’s a good one. Join us next week for The Dungeonmaster (1984). Music featured on this episode: Crusty Old Toad – Bedroom Black Metal This program is available on Spotify. It is also available on iTunes or whatever they call it now, where you can rate, review, and subscribe. Give us money on Patreon to get exclusive bonus episodes and other cool shit.

Toilet Radio 586 – Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell

The October Spooktacular continues as we check out BLOODY MUSCLE BODY BUILDER IN HELL (a.k.a. The Japanese Evil Dead). Shot on a camcorder over a period of seven years and finally released about seventeen years after first starting, Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell is a mostly one-man labor of love. This one was written, directed, edited, starring, financed, and special effects all by Shinichi Fukazawa. If you’ve ever poured a ton of time and effort into creating a derivative metal album that will be listened to by maybe a dozen people, this is the movie for you. Join as we talk about extremely low-fidelity film quality, dodgy action shots, incredible stop-motion special effects, and unabashedly loving the thing that inspired you. FOLKS…….. it’s a good one. Join us next week for Cronenberg’s The Brood (1979). Music featured on this episode: BENCHPRESS – Still Disgusted This program is available on Spotify. It is also available on iTunes or whatever they call it now, where you can rate, review, and subscribe. Give us money on Patreon to get exclusive bonus episodes and other cool shit.

Toilet Radio 585 – Dark Match

The October Spooktacular continues as we sit down to watch Dark Match (2024), a Shudder original horror film about pro wrestling in late-80’s Canada. This one is directed by Lowell Dean (Wolf Cop), starring Ayisha Issa (Brick Mansions), Steven Ogg (The Walking Dead, Trevor in Grand Theft Auto V), and Chris Jericho (Sturgis Motorcycle Rally). Dark Match is a simple tale about a crew of wrestlers invited to perform at an off-the-grid private party that quickly becomes a satanic nightmare. It’s kinda like regional wrestling meets Green Room and also Mortal Kombat. We’re talking about grisly special effects, extremely dark lighting, wildly shifting tones, and Chris Jericho’s time at the Steven Seagal School of Acting While Sitting. Folks… it’s a good one. Music featured on this episode: Black Magnet – Spitting Glass This program is available on Spotify. It is also available on iTunes or whatever they call it now, where you can rate, review, and subscribe. Give us money on Patreon to get exclusive bonus episodes and other cool shit.
