54: Three Steps to Stop Worry
The Holy Spirit reminded me to not worry about tomorrow’s problems. You can't solve them today. Every time I think about something that worries me, it’s usually about things that are happening tomorrow. They’re happening in the future. Matthew 6:34 says “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.
In this episode I share my three best techniques for worry:
1. Turn your thoughts into prayers. Thank Him, that He is already working on your tomorrow.
"Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns." Philippians 4:6
2. Ask yourself what the worst thing is that could happen. Think about what the enemy has been holding over your head. And then define what success means to you. Perfection is not success. Success is being obedient to Christ.
3. Use the word “I don’t” instead of “I can’t”. This combination of words is way more powerful. What we say with our mouth our mind takes as fact, whether we believe it or not. So, what are the “I don’ts in your life?

53: The Best Thing You Can Do Right Now
Did you know that how you begin something is important, but how you end something is just as important?
Being faithful to God doesn’t mean staying in one place. It’s understanding that we have assignments and that our identity isn’t based on those assignments. Our assignments change, but our identity doesn’t.
Galatians 6:9 says “And let us not grow weary in well-doing”. The Bible wouldn’t say that, if we didn’t have the tendency to grow weary, it’s a human condition.
What assignment are you looking at today? Are you honoring and loving that? Everything you are doing today is preparation for tomorrow.

52: Serve by Observing
In this episode, I talk about one of the keys I’ve discovered to serving a church community. This past month has been full with traveling, and I wanted to share one of the greatest secrets of being on the road and being in new environments. I’ve been on the road for 20 years now, and I’ve realized that people often assume that they’re coming into a new community to change things, but I don’t go that direction. Here are a few keys to staying focused when entering into new places.

51: Living Emotionally Whole
Today on the podcast I have a special guest to share with you; my friend, Josh Cearbaugh. We have built a friendship over the past four years and have seen each other’s families grow and thrive in many ways.
Josh is a Life Consultant who leads people through internal transformation; connecting people to their heart, identifying areas where they find themselves stuck, and creating practical strategies to transition us to a place of thriving.
Oftentimes, the places where we get stuck are the very places God wants to give us the most freedom so we can help others who are stuck in the same environment.
Josh shares how he walked through a season where he didn’t give his emotions a place in his life; they had no value and were pushed aside. During this time, he didn’t know how to care for himself emotionally or process through pain; it resulted in an emotional and physical breakdown that manifested through a lack of safe environments.
He decided that he could either stay in that place or climb out of the pit. He chose to fight for his emotional health and process through emotions and deep places of pain. Walking through his past experiences, he began to dismantle areas of pain and bring healing. It began a passion for seeing others walk in freedom; helping to identify the root cause of their lack and create steps to wholeness. Thus began his consulting practice.
Josh has also created an invaluable resource called the Jumpstart Your Life eCourse; pulling from years of developing the most effective tools and philosophies to see tangible change in the people he has worked with in his practice. He has invited each of you to take a free quiz that walks you through 26 easy questions on emotional well-being. You will also receive an exclusive discount for 50% off the eCourse enrollment!

50: Learning to Hear God's Voice in Your Everyday Life: Pt. 2
In this episode, I tackle a question I hear a lot. In fact, it may be one of the most important questions we ask on our journey with the Lord. The question is this; how can I grow in hearing God’s voice for my life? For my family? For my future?
My passion is to show you how to hear God’s voice and grow in your gifting. In my last podcast episode, I spoke about the four overarching truth’s for discerning God’s voice. If you didn’t get a chance to tune in, I encourage you to go back and listen; you can find that podcast below:
http://havilahcunnington.com/podcasts/49-learning-to-hear-gods-voice-in-your-everyday-life-pt-1/
As we continue on this journey of learning to hear God’s voice; there are a few things we need to understand:
1. We each hear God’s voice distinctly and uniquely.
2. We are called to steward the gift of hearing His voice.
3. God doesn’t hide from us; He is always speaking (Proverbs 3:6).
4. Hearing His voice is the fruit of relationship.
I relate discerning the voice of God through what I like to call, filters. While there are countless ways in which the Lord communicates with us, how we experience His voice can be summarized in four primary prophetic personalities; hearers, feelers, seers, and knowers.

49: Learning to hear God's voice in your everyday life - Pt. 1
In this podcast, I unpack each of the four overarching truths to hearing God’s voice so you can tune into Heaven’s design for your life! I also mention a FREE quiz you can take to better discover your own unique way of hearing God's voice.
TAKE THE FREE QUIZ HERE --> bit.ly/tttquiz
To be honest, I found it shocking to discover that most men and women who follow Christ wholeheartedly are unsure that they are hearing God’s voice on a daily basis.
This reality took me on a journey of translating the way we each uniquely hear the Lord so I could teach others. It shouldn’t be confusing or something we wonder about; we CAN be clear when it comes to recognizing His voice.
1. We were all created to hear God’s voice, but we all hear differently.
2. We need to learn the filter by which we hear His voice.
3. We need to have permission to hear Him differently than other people.
4. We need to practice hearing His voice.
Many times we can feel less than, lost, or confused because we struggle to hear His voice in our lives. But, just because you need to work at something, doesn’t mean you weren’t created for it.
You were created to hear His voice. Don’t give up; keep digging in.
