Welcome to 2022, and pleased with achieving my 70th Episode of The G&T Sessions today, with Jeroen Corthout, Co-Founder & CEO of Salesflare. Jeroen joins the show from Antwerp, Belgium where Salesflare global HQ is based, and this was a great episode covering the journey from finding a problem worth solving to building an at scale global software business over the last 7 years. Salesflare, os an intelligent CRM built for SMBs selling B2B, mostly popular with agencies and SaaS companies. Salesflare itself was founded when Jeroen and his co-founder Lieven wanted to manage the leads for their own software company in an easier way. They didn't like to keep track of them manually and built Salesflare, which pulls customer data together automatically. It's now the most popular CRM on Product Hunt and top rated on review platforms like G2 for its ease of use and automation features. Jeroen shares some great insights, his peaks and valleys in a market that is gigantic and growing at pace. Lucas Caneda is originally from Argentina, and now Global Team Lead at UNIQORN Incubator and a professional rugby player for Sarlat Rugby Team. A student of engineering, management, economics, and self-taught in nutrition and fitness, Lucas has always had a very keen interest in business, entrepreneurship, and personal development. Which lead him to be the Director of one of UNIQORN startups, CXSports, a SaaS company who is turning amateur sport clubs into pro. At just 12, Mike Wimmer is already being called the real Tony Stark and the Musk, Jobs, and Gates of his generation. Mike recently made worldwide press for graduating from both high school and college in the same week. His work in artificial intelligence and machine learning gained the attention of the military. To date, Mike has completed six contracts with the United States Special Operations Command, receiving numerous awards for his efforts. Additionally, Mike has been invited to speak at conventions, schools, and podcasts, including Mensa, IEEE Berlin, DataRobot’s More Intelligent Tomorrow Series, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Mike has also presented and been a technical instructor at the International NAO Robotics Congress. Mike learned the value of perseverance at an early age navigating through a world not equipped for profoundly gifted students. Realising there is always more than one way to reach a goal allows Mike to view the world with a nothing is impossible attitude.  Mike learned his robotic and programming knowledge through trial and error, books and videos, and online documentation. His desire to help others motivated Mike to become an entrepreneur with a goal of “building technology that enables people to live better lives.” He has started two technology companies, the first at seven years old, Next Era Innovations. His most recent start-up, Reflect Social, provides an easy and fun codeless integration platform for IoT devices that anyone can use. When not attending school, scaling a company, or working for the military, Mike can be found SIM racing with friends, playing with Legos and Hotwheels, and on the weekends, you will likely find him in the paddock of an IMSA Sportscar race. This was a wonderful episode and hope this inspires many more of my audience with your son's and daughter's to go the extra mile and see what they can achieve while on this planet. John came up with the idea to launch a daily podcast interviewing today’s most successful and inspiring entrepreneurs when he realised no one else was doing it. All of his favourite podcasts – ones that shared interviews with individuals who were doing amazing things and leading inspiring lives – were once per week, and some of them only once every other week. As a Commercial Real Estate Broker, John found himself in the car every single day driving back and forth to appointments wishing there was more motivational content available to him on-demand. That’s when he had his own AH-HA moment and decided that he would be the one to create that content. The name EOFire, short for “Entrepreneurs On Fire”, was inspired by the late, great Stuart Scott, who was famous not only for being an incredible sportscaster, but also for a phrase he loved and used often: “HE’S ON FIRE!” Scott would use the term in reference to a player who was on such a roll that he couldn’t be stopped. When John heard Scott use the phrase during the 2012 playoffs, he knew it was a perfect fit for his podcast that would share the journeys of entrepreneurs who couldn’t be stopped. In September 2012.
