Jantzen & TJ both grew up in Lloydminster and played together all through minor hockey culminating in a trip to the Telus Cup.  Jantzen was selected 15th overall in the Bantam draft and played 4 years in the WHL. TJ went undrafted and just finished his 3rd and final year in the AJHL becoming the CJHL defensemen of the year. We discuss all of this and more on today’s episode

This one was pretty cool. Murray and I did this episode live at the Lashburn Elementary School in front of different classes who sat and watched throughout the interview. Murray is retired from teaching (30years) and now is a full time painter. He taught himself rugby by reading a book and went on to coach the Lashburn High School to 5 provincial championship. He has a lot of insight on coaching kids and how to approach life in general.  You don’t want to miss this one.

Si was born in Zealandia SK in 1924. He lived through the Great Depression, fought in WWII and worked on the railroad for 38 years. We talk in depth about life in the Depression, his time in the war and the life lessons he’s experienced. You don’t want to miss this one.

Sat in Skip Krake’s man cave for this episode. We were surrounded by so much history of the game at times it was quite unbelievable. Skip is originally from North Battleford SK and this is where he would play his minor hockey. Following this he would play his junior in Estevan and carry onto the NHL for: -Boston Bruins -Los Angeles Kings -Buffalo Sabres - WHA -Cleveland Crusaders -Edmonton Oilers
